Getting the help you need

Some women have a hard time asking for help. And sometimes, it’s not entirely clear what we need. Do you need food? Do you need quiet? Do you need your non-parent friends to be a little more patient with your new life? Let’s talk about what moms need, and give you some words to help you get it. Because, let’s face it, sometimes new mommy brain makes it hard to think straight. 🙂

Dealing with advice

New moms are bombarded with advice – from the mother in law, from the Internet, from strangers at the store. Sometimes this advice can really hurt a mom’s confidence.

We will talk about ways to deal with advice, in-the-moment strategies, how to put it context, and how to shut it out if needed.

What crazy advice have you heard recently? Bring it!

Our big day – June 26

Please join us for our first gathering is at Village Green Yoga from 11:30 to 1.

Our theme for the day is Make Peace or Make Change.

We’ll talk about the enormous change that comes with becoming a mother, and we’ll talk about ways to cope with the change. Is it a matter of changing your perspective, or do other changes need to occur? Let’s talk about it, and let’s hear what you all have to say.

Jeffie and I are eager to meet you all. We’d love to hear your thoughts, ideas and wishes for what this group can do for you.
